Everyone's voice pitches either got higher or lower, to the point that it doesn't sound like them, unless you really listen hard. I can only really tell it's them because I've played the JP versions of the games, plus for some of the VAs I've heard them in other series.

Absolutely agree for all of them, except Roxas and Xemnas, but that joins your point, that's because they speak averagely on the same tone in english and japanese

@@tacobellcall911 I know right!! Yeah I love when he says that and then everyone believes as if the child's innocence itself was a proof, considering they refute anything that comes from adults. The moment everyone gathers around Peter after that gives goosebumps. This movie is in my top too, emblematic of my childhood.

Simply perfect. This is my favorite game introduction of all time. Like, the idea of it possibly starting in a dream,with the main character falling from the sky. Then to having him facing a wave, instilling his sense of doubt and fear of the unknown. The wave is a metaphor. He gets pushed back, but emerges from the water okay. He walks over to his friend under a beautiful sunset, and in the next moment she looks up at the sky, to which he turn and sees himself falling amongst a meteor shower. Next thing he's actually falling, and his friend is reaching out. But she can't save him. He submerges under the water again, lost in a dream. I can't think of a movie that has that much emotional weight in such a short time, with incredible music and metaphor.

One of my favorite openings to a Square Enix game since FFVII, FFVIII, and the first Parasite Eve. The trippy visuals, and Simple and Clean remix makes this awesome and age extremely well. Kingdom Hearts was the key to Square's resurrection after Final Fantasy The Spirits Within failed financially and almost ended them(so was their first entry into the world of MMOs, FFXI), then they merged with Enix, their former rival and the rest is history. On the subject of Simple and Clean's remix used for KH1, KHCoM, KHBbS, and KHReCoded's openings, shut up and enjoy the nightcore.
