No I didn’t have to clean it out as I had it in the car for about 20 years and was driving it regularly. I forgot to mention that you have to unbolt the tank from the boot first. I will have to go check out your progress. 👍

The new name is good. That paint stripper cleans your sinus out for sure. I usually use the diggers brand.

Good to hear it running. The fuse could be a lot of things. Those old engines with every bloke and his dog playing around with the wiring. I helps if you can measure the current. The trace it out and start removing stuff and see what happens.

I laughed when you got the dust from the sander over you. That's the sort of thing I'd do. Came up good. I think my spray painting experience is about the same.

It's easy to get carried away at an auction. There is also the auctioneers fee on top which can be fairly high too.

Tip to get rid of bog the easy way is , use a propane torch or a blow torch to heat the bog up, not to hot then use a screwdriver to pill it off , it will just pill off

A good project for the lad.. Some fella told me that the paint from that era was environmental paint so they could sell the cars into California. It's shit. Doesn't stick to plastic and fades in the sun. Every time I see your video I crack a can and enjoy.
