Good. It worked after adding the guest additions. For anyone that doesn't know, the guest additions are tools that improve the integration of Ubuntu and the host OS, so that you can do this kind of stuff. Thanks for the video!

An excellent example of a tech teacher, doesn't take you the long route. Simple but effective method of delivering his instructions. I read a lot before finding this video in which solved my problem in a few mintures. Many thanks!

I realize this is an old post, things change in both the Arduino and VS Code/PlatformIO world, but this still helped out a great deal. I'm new to Arduino and like the simplicity of the Arduino IDE but I used to program in the old Visual Studio (among other oldies like Delphi and Code Warrior) going back to VB 5.0 and MFC in VCC++. Having done very little coding in the last 20 years I needed the simplicity of Arduino IDE, but now want the bigger potential that VS offers. Having done the installs and extension updates, seeing 'main.cpp' was a welcome sight but I was kind of lost in the new IDE. Your walkthrough was very simple, to-the-point and wasted no time (unlike this comment). Thank you.

The implementation presented in this video (I mean "nmtui") simply would not work on the newest Ubuntu-Server where everything (networking) is managed by "netplan" ... You'd need to follow the netplan bridging to make it to work, rather than "nmtui". The concept would be the same, but the implementation would not be possible through the "nmtui" The concept is greatly presented.

Perfect tutorial! I almost skipped the tutorial when he used an external usb for the ubuntu installation because I wanted a dual boot on my ssd. However, I created a partition, and after following the tutorials, I have my dual boot set up. This is the best simple solution I have come across so far. Big ups bro.

Loved your QEMU/KVM playlist. Thank you for putting in the good work. Would you dive into Systems Programming (or Networking) stuff in the future ?

Can you be a bit more specific? Which kind of topics would you like to see?
@gimmeyes8 күн бұрын
@absprog The topics that have depth or fundamentals, such as programming / re-implementing low level stuff (compilers, parsrers, working with assembly language etc).
