honestly, the xshot longshot is awesome stock but if you want to mod you should probably go for something a bit more solid (since xshot has cheap blasters for a reason) dart zone makes some solid blasters at the price range (a stryker 2.0 is probably what you would most take advantage of)

you should try making a somewhat cheap airsoft mortar, (airsoft mortar.. or just long projectile mortar... i think the latter), there are barely any POWERFUL enough ones so itd be sick if you tried making that

G&G cm16 series, Arcturus MK1 LWT, CYMA AK platforms, elite for mp5 platforms, and hi-capa pistols are all under or around $200, with the G&G hicapa being the cheapest and most customizable. You can also get an AAP01 for under or around $100, and it also has a lot of customizable options. Only issues with the pistols is that the AAP01's stock hammer may break, and the Hicapa's stock plastic slide will crack after using it a while. By those times, you will have the money to upgrade parts anyway.

cm16 raider is a good gun for custom-builds. It's also relatively cheap with plenty of upgrades

Air soft is not very expensive if you find the right stuff I got into it for 300$

Bro, a standart nefr gun shoots about 70fps

Nerf chronographs have a single sensor that tracks based off the default nerf dart size. I recommend using an actual chronograph for general use or for half length darts

I find it hard to believe you're not secretly an experienced nerf modder lmao. You picked the XLS as your base blaster "becuase it's a bullpup". Nah that thing is known throughout the hobby as one of the cheapest snipers you can buy. Just shove a longer barrel in it, get a new PT becuase the plastic one can crack and then shove a heavier spring in there and you have easy 250+ FPS even into 300 if you get K25. And I noticed the choice to get a kuryaka barrel too. Also acclaimed in the hobby right now for being one of the best barrels you can buy with crazy performance gains. And you say gun in the video but blaster in the comments. hmmmm All in all this was fun to watch. Do a second video modifying a flywheeler lmao. I wanna see what you'd do with an Omnia. 👅
