@@shapoopie Make a 1920x720 resolution png image, change the name to updatelogo.png and put it in the root directory of the USB drive. Plug in the USB drive and it will prompt that the logo has been changed successfully and please restart.

This is not true actually. There were produced VRS models for Skoda Octavia since the first model. The Octavia mk1 with the 1.8t AOQ engine. They are still available to buy even today: the Octavia mk4. Check it out by yourself if you don’t believe.
