Yup that was the first time we got a mount back in 2017, roughly 5 years after launch of the game. To get the Griffon you will need to play through most of the PoF expansion, do a bunch of collection achievements, and spend about 100 gold. Check the wiki for more info but it will take you a while. IMO Skyscale is the better flying mount, I rarely use Griffon these days. Still, PoF is worth doing just for the mount upgrades and unlocking some of the easier to obtain mounts. The extra long jump mastery on raptor is sweet. You still have to play through quite a bit of content though regardless.

I'm autistic myself, diagnosed, it's not offensive to suspect having it based on having a very intense interest in something, it is a symptom afterall though not a deciding factor. I'm more of a PC gamer myself but I will still play the occasional console exclusives. As far as PS4 goes the must plays in my opinion are Horizon Zero Dawn and Red Dead Redemption 2. They're big long games though but the only ones that stood out to me as exceptionally good, enough that I wanted to mention them even if they're not on your list. From your list Hogwarts Legacy was quite fun too if you like the Harry Potterverse, it did fanservice very well and I actually completed it unlike many other long RPGs from the time that I haven't listed so even if it wasn't as good as the other two it was still a lot of fun so I recommend giving it a whirl. Most of the shorter games I can think of that I personally played from that time period that I liked were either puzzle, heavily narrative based, challenging, or spooky if you want suggestions for that I have a list. There honestly weren't many good shorter singleplayer action rpgish games in the PS4 era tbh. Most good RPGs were long and most decent short action games you've already covered or again were longer. That or more of a multiplayer or pvp experience. I might've forgotten about one but I guess it didn't stand out to me if so. All in all, you should just play what you enjoy playing or want to play and the people who want to see it will watch it. P.s. I used to play Jedi Academy for years xD

The mounts were first added in the Path of Fire expansion so if you want to upgrade your Raptor or unlock the Skimmer, Springer, Jackal, or Griffon... PoF is the way to go. If you want to unlock Skyscale you'll need to do either Living World Season 4 or Secrets of the Obscure. I would personally recommend LS4 because it's better than SoTO IMO and you can also unlock the Rollerbeetle there, but keep in mind that Skyscale takes time to obtain so it's a bit of a commitment to do. Just a WARNING though that skipping ahead to play PoF or LS4 (which you can do) will give major story spoilers and you won't know what's going on so take that into consideration. Guildwars 2 does horizontal progression so there's no gear treadmill (yay) so best in slot gear will remain best in slot. What was best 12 or so years ago is still best. Instead you become better through acquiring new abilities such as gliding and mounts and improving on those. This means you can't easily unlock most mounts, they all require at least some effort to obtain with the flying ones being some of the most time consuming and costly. You really have to earn the mounts but once you do you get to keep them forever on all alts. The GW2 Wikipedia is your friend, it's very detailed and helpful so whenever you're confused or stuck on something use the /wiki command in-game followed by a search term or just go there to look things up. Some of the mount acquisitions such as Skyscale and Griffon are very convoluted multi-step processes requiring a bunch of gold , effort, and/or resources. You can figure these things out within the game but it's quite difficult, especially for a new player. So if you're really set on getting the Skyscale definitely utilize the Wikipedia or video guides. I would suggest working your way through PoF and into LS4 organically so you can grab the other mounts and gather some resources and experience along the way. As a side nugget of info: You didn't used to get Raptor at lvl 10 until a couple or so years ago so you would have to play through the Base game, LS1, LS2, HoT, and LS3 by walking (and gliding after HoT) before you could get a mount in PoF or otherwise skip ahead to it. But they later added it at lvl 10 as an incentive to buy expacs and also because MMO players are too used to having some kind of mount fairly early on. If you play chronologically (which I do think is best if you care about story) you will only have a Raptor through all that content till you hit PoF. A lot of people skip ahead to PoF for that reason. It's up to you whether you want to skip far ahead in the story to obtain them before continuing where you left off, or continue with raptor only and play chronologically to avoid story spoilers. It'll probably take you months or years to get to PoF organically with the amount you play. So use this info and make a decision based on what you want. Whichever path you think sounds more fun to you :3

You got a bit excited after purchasing expac lol. Yeah, don't use the booster on your first character, save it for alts. Also, it's not a pay to win at all, it's a bonus gift given to players for their support. Secondly, you should think about us who had to pay a full price for all expansions, you only pay $8 bucks for 2 and you were still unhappy! Shame on you...joking . Also, once you spend that boost, it gives you a shared inventory slot. where you can put whatever you want there to share with your alts. Shared inventory slots are not cheap so it's one of the most practical gifts you can get. for eg, you can put a salvage kit in there and all your alts will have access to it. What's rally good about those lvl boosters is that you can create an alt characters test them out at max lvl with everything unlocked and play them as long as you want in that zone to see if you like their play style. You can use it as many times as you want before you commit to using the booster. Vywern mount (ie dragon as you call it) you don't get it in either of those 2 expansions. You get that in a Living Story that was a DLC added after Path of Fire (PoF) expansion. However, you do get the Griffon, which is also a flying mount in PoF as well many others. Also. when you finish core game, you should do Heart of Thorns (HoT) first to unlock the gliding ability, that will help you a great deal in acquiring the Mounts in PoF, plus it does come before PoF so you should do it in order, otherwise the story is going to be disjointed, if you do PoF first. All the mounts have special abilities but you can only train them by doing content in PoF via Mastery System, which was a new character progression system added in HoT and extended to Mounts in PoF. Oh P.S Please click away that other icon on the side of your screen, you don't have to buy the offers, just click it away because it keeps distracting when watching the video as it constantly dangles. PPS, you can also dye your mounts, just go into the dye panel then lick on the mount tab ( depicted by a horseshoe) at the top of the UI and also glides once you have it can be dyed as well. Once you get a bit of gold, you can unlock tons of dyes buying them from trading post, many of them very cheap, like a few silver. have fun.
