It's just a picture of JHS pedal but it doesn't reflect actual knob's position which was around 12 o'clock. I played on clean channel of Revv G20.

If you mean JHS Andy Timmons vs Suhr Eclipse, these are two different pedals which I always keep on my analogue pedal board. Both pedals are great! I play mainly HSS stratocaster and I like sound of neck pick up with Suhr Eclipse and bridge humbucker with JHS AT+.

It's loud enough. Normally I dial volume 12 o'clock and it's very loud.

Hello Alex. I'm Juan Carlos from Spain. I'm thinking to buy a frfr cabinet for my Fractal modeller. What about laney 112? Do you play live in stereo with two laney or mono? There are so much frfr options: headrush, laney, etc etc that i don't know choose!. Your opinion please. Thanks

Hola Juan Carlos, I use one Laney 112 with Quad Cortex for rehearsals and live gigs. I keep it simple by playing mono via one Laney and I'm totally happy with the sound. I believe that stereo with two Laneys will sound great but logistic wise it would be too much for me to carry 2 speakers as I don't have roadies 😁 I connect Laney's DI output directly to PA and I'm completely satisfied with sound on stage. I'm coming from analogue/tube amp world so I don't have much experience with FRFR cabinets. I've tried Headrush but it sounded awful, then I went through my tube amp and cabinet Revv which was OK, and finally I tried Laney which turned to be a good solution for my QC. @@jcaryali Laney 112 has 3 different emulation modes - FRFR, 1x12 and 4x12 so it also gives different sound possibilities. I use 1x12 mode.

Would you recommend the Laney FR-112 besides its heavyweight? Quad Cortex is not affordable, but I would like to try the amp using the Amparo Stomp II.

Frankly speaking, I haven't tried Laney with my tube amp but it would be interesting to test. Normally I use my amps Revv D20/G20 with Revv cab which is a bit smaller and lighter than Laney. I use Laney specifically for Quad Cortex.

I haven't tried Fender but Laney has good sound which is quite close to my tube amp sound which I profiled in QC. Laney is loud enough even with loud drummer in the band.
