Thanks a great question. Light swirl marks or scratches typically are on the clear coat of the vehicle. When light is present the swirls reflect light back making it easier to catch, when examining. Since the paint measured a healthy number and the swirls were very faint, a 1-step polish was more than enough to remove/reduce majority of them. In some cases you have to perform a 2-step correction or even wetsand the vehicle to really remove the marks. But an orange foam pad and a light compoud normally does the trick with light swirls and scratches!

Yes, it used to be my favorite, but now most of their cars are ugly. This one isn’t, but all the models with the big grilles are weird. Anyways, nice job to the both of you with your detailing.

It would definitely be noticeable! Maybe not as much as black but you would absolutely see a difference with a white vehicle. We've done white in the past, it truly gives it a unique look!

Good question! Typically Full Front End PPF starts at $2,000. This covers the hood, fenders, front bumper, headlights, and mirror caps. This is one of the most popular PPF packages to really protect from daily driving!

We trimmed out the sensors to avoid any issues and give it a cleaner install!

In this case we did since there were a tremendous amount of swirls. Some brand new vehicles would be fine without a polish before applying PPF. It just depends on the vehicle!

@@mgautomotivedetailing1139. I wish I PPF my Cayman when it was new. The wheels kick up so much little rocks due to sticky tires. My rocker panel and rear lower bumper near the wheel is peppered with rock chips. Great job on the car looks sweet!
