I think that these Symbols go deeper than Jean being a Horse. #*Stationary Guard is represented by two roses.* Besides love and passion, roses can also symbolize secrecy or confidentiality. Additionally, two roses represent a strong, maybe romantic connection. Here, these represent the Three walls and Titans, with the thorns representing the conflicts and twisted origins. And this_ secrecy quietly flourishes in the Stationary Guards and their associates._ #*Military Police has a unicorn on its crest.* A unicorn is the symbol of chastity, the divine power that nurtures all. They not only represent the ability to fly, but also suggest the improvement of the subject. Winged creatures are often messengers of the gods, and they are a symbol of freedom and Hope. _Survey cops serve as the ray of hope in the dark world they live in._ Wings also symbolize beings not being where they should be. This represents the people inside the walls. Finally, the mismatched wings crossing each other portray the uncoordinated, often clashing ways of Humanity to reach a common goal. But in the end, you need them both to be free.

I love the attack on titan openings. Even though I cringe at the german parts all the time, because they are terribly wrong pronounced xD and what they say is kind of cringy as well, but man I don't fucking care, it still is friggin amazing.
