I didn't appreciate Metallica years ago. I knew a couple of songs but wasn't really bothered. Now, I think they're probably the best band in the world.

Lars is a little bit sloopy with his Rhythm, but at the same time he is a genius because he performs an ass kicking groove. So he is not the first choice for nothing.

My favorite player of Metallica is the lead guitarist kurt i dont care james or lars they both act like thier shit doesnt stink and lars isnt a very good drummer i have seen better by far that can play his drums better than him anyday and lars makes drumming look hard when its so simple i am a pro drummer and have been a drummer for over 40 years and have played with great bands and i can play his songs with both hands tied behind my back and my eyes closed and not make it look as hard as he does .
