Nice job, but it's technically an American song as Steve Earle is American. Irish singers and bands are great at doing this song justice, though!

@@robinclarke9978 is Budapest in the UK? Is Africa in America? Is Waterloo in Sweden? Is Leningrad in America? Are the Cliffs of Dover in America? Just because a song is about another place does not make it that location’s song.

@@nathankeck4027 Yea this song belongs to the Irish now mate. Let it go. Steve wrote it in Ireland and its about Ireland and he has not problem with it becoming an traditional song there. It's theirs now even if ya don't like it.
