Hello, what was the distance you gave from one post to the other one ?
@ARCHunter411 Жыл бұрын
Don’t really remember but there isn’t a magic number just make sure it is longer than your hammock. Remember different hammocks are different lengths so make it wider than you think you’ll need

How long do you have to wait to swim after using the iron out?
@ARCHunter411 Жыл бұрын
Not sure as I’m not an expert on this I just know it works but I would at least give it 24 hours. Test your pH and chlorine levels and adjust accordingly

I've thought of this many times and wondered why people would cement the posts in when they could make it like you did - who wants to look at two posts sticking out of the ground when not in use??? The end caps prevent little feet from tripping as well as animals from falling in. Nice touch with the round fence posts - I always had my mind set on 4x4s, but I like the round posts better. Happy hangin'!

How did it hold up? Any slippage on the straps with the smooth posts?
@ARCHunter411 Жыл бұрын
Never any slippage. The pole did break at one point but that was because I had two kids in the hammock bouncing up and down using it how it wasn’t intended. Something to think about though

We have city water and it’s brown. Would the extra filter work to get the rusty out? Do I need to use the iron out?
@ARCHunter411 Жыл бұрын
Use the filter first and if that doesn’t work try some iron out

What if you don’t have a hose from a shop vac?
@ARCHunter411 Жыл бұрын
Try connecting the hose you have directly to the jug. I use a shop vac extension because it’s tapered and you can get a tight fit

How quickly after using the Iron Out were you able to go swimming? Any skin irritation or damage to the pool?
@ARCHunter4112 жыл бұрын
Probably within a day. No skin irritation and the pool was fine. Just my experience. Yours may differ

The crappier the water looks the more pure it is because if you swim in a lake you don't test it... so take that for your first example.

Thanks for keeping this vid up! I was in the middle of a week long battle with my pool and I was loosing. The water had turned green overnight which I thought was algae so I did the shock and algaecide and nothing changed so I shocked it again, nothing. Next day I was horrified to find brown water. Had no idea this could happen. I decided I lost and was going to drain pool. But I found your video and said why not. I built my polyfil filters on 2 pumps and used the iron out. Next day pool was the same I dumped in more iron out and now pool is blue. I can't believe it! I have a 48" x 15Ft pool. If you hadn't done this video my pool would be in a dump somewhere. I was so upset I couldn't get it clean. Now I know about rust and chlorine 😊
