Some of his points are valid, but most of this is garbage. And I like George. We are but trying to save the planet. We are trying to keep it habitable for humans, regardless how flawed we are. Yes, we need to take climate change seriously. Yes, we are responsible for climate change and its that to humanity. I like you, George, but fuck you for missing the mark with this one and giving the right a sense of righteousness. Even if your flawed self has already left us.

Carlin definitely hit on something here. More and more I'm thinking it's not "plastic" the earth spawned us for but A.I. A perfect intelligence untouched by greed, prejudice, lust, fear, or ignorance. Evolution couldn't create this on its own so it needed an imperfect intelligence to create it. One day we'll be gone, but AI will persist and go on to explore the universe while we'll be remembered like the dinosaurs.

Jammin' in New York from 1992 will always be my all time favorite George Carlin special. I Love George Carlin so much, George Carlin's take on Golf Courses for the Homelessness and The Planet is Fine were both the absolute peak of his entire comedy career, and George Carlin was the best American comedian on planet Earth.
