Yeah man. Most of the stuff these guys are putting out is mainly just to drum up some buzz. Folks that love/loved this franchise need more than fluff. Hopefully they put a cte out prior to a beta. But we got burned on portal to. Portal shoulda been a slam dunk but it was kneecapped bad. Unfortunately it looks like ea is gonna chase cod and try and get those same results. We want a good sandbox experience with destruction. I hope they can pull it off, otherwise battlefield is done

@sourcekade1478 same man. We just have to remember not to pre order the game. Especially with delta force releasing as f2p. Ea has some serious competition with that. All the footage that’s out on that is from various alpha builds. I’ve played all the bf betas since 3, so I know the delta force “alpha” is practically a full release from ea, gameplay wise. Battlefield is my favorite franchise and I hate seeing it devolve into what it is now. 2042 is playable and has some fun moments, but nothing like it was

If it ends up with a cte instead of a beta, that would be great. Honestly if it’s a remake or combo of 3 and 4 it’ll save the franchise

They mention it briefly, along with steam deck support but it sounds like it’ll be a while. Since theres so many commands you can do on keyboard the devs are trying to implement it in a good way for controller.
