The voice is pristine here. This is singing of the highest caliber. I am happy that someone mentioned his diction. I have always thought that Pavarotti had the best diction of any singer I have ever heard. Thank you for posting this.

Not sure what’s meant by “amateur” but based on his weight and tone of the voice, this was recorded well into his professional career.

OH I wish everyone that had met pavarotti or taken a picture or a video would show them, it's a crime not to share each word, syllable with the world. also the opera houses who have video hidden,

Lástima que se tenga que cortar la continuidad de la obra para hacer una pausa de aplausos donde no debería hacerse. Falta formación de públicos en muchos lugares, ojalá algún día las obras puedan verse y escucharse como fueron concebidas y los públicos aprendan que los aplausos van al final de los actos o de las escenas. Aquí casi todos confundieron una ópera con un concierto de Pavarotti.

Gee, I took Jon Frederic West's advice to see this video, did it on June 7 2022, and found that I was the last individual to comment on it..,having seen it already two years ago...What's amazing is that the last commenter before me was EIGHT YEARSS prior to that !! Come on ! BTW, I am even more amazed at the sound now than then WOW !
