This is a follow up to my first May, 2024 FTF comment. My LTT PX4 was fully "optimized" by them so it was cleaned and totally NP3 coated so my FTF had a different cause for the malfunction. An FTF is unacceptable for an EDC. No word from LTT on cause or remedy. I did no bench work myself although I could have but I paid a lot of money for a functioning firearm and got something less so I returned it to them to correct. I hope to follow up after I hear from them.

Wow, hope LTT can correct the issue. I bought my PX4 carry 2 a month ago from the BPS and was very frustrated with the numerous feed issues first time to the range. I came upon this helpful video and throughly cleaned and lubed the pistol which helped to reduce the number of feeding problems. I still had about 4 or 5. I'm hoping it's a break-in period issue for the pistol and the mags. I do like how smooth it shoots, but I will not trust it as an EDC until I have zero feeding issues at the range.

So, here it is May, 2024 and my new LTT PX4 Compact Carry was having the same problem. After 2 trips to the range and 300+ rounds of 5 different brands of 9mm mine is doing the same exact thing. A FTF after a hand operation of the slide happens on only the 1st round. Never had a problem chambering with slide lock. A slight tap on the rear of the slide gets the jammed round into battery. UNACCEPTABLE for a daily carry. Sent it back to LTT for repair. No word yet on cause.

I sent mine to beretta and they said they added gun grease and it was working fine. Beretta sent it bak to me 2 weeks ago and it still jamms

I have a lot of favorite paramotor videos, Ryan Southwell, Tucker Gott, Judson Graham, Kyle O’Glee, Anthony Vella, Matt Minyard, Avery Flies, Scout adventure flights (especially Iceland),Team fly halo, Everyone from Aviator ppg, and so many more. This video has to be one of my favorites. Family and friends coming together to pass on and share just how much happiness and joy flying a paramotor can bring to everyone! Thank you to Martyg for sharing some great videos. Special thanks to HIGH 5 PPG for taking me in, teaching me how to fly, creating memories, and allowing me to part of this amazing family. Keep the faith, fly safe, and if you’re able, share a smile!!!

I was told and I learned you only have four total rounds one in the pipe and three in the clip that's that's why it's dropping down that eighth of an inch you got four in the clip and one in the pipe try that see if it's solve the problem

Several years back I zeroed two 742 rifles. Can't remember which ammo we used on one, but the other was a mint condition gun about 10 years old at the time. Was using Federal 165 grain ammo with Sierra bullets. No malfunctions in about 30 rounds fired and accuracy was about 6" for 5 shots off the bench at 200 yards. So roughly 3 MOA. I bet that another ammo type would have shot tighter groups. But that was how it went. The other 742 required a tear down and cleaning. There looked to be some bolt battering in the receiver. No telling about the ammo it had been fed over the years. But the ammo that was used with it on our range trip functioned just fine. And we got a quick 100 yard zero for the owner.

Probably why its jamming is ammo u useing get some hoter loads
@untermench35029 ай бұрын
You should use 150 grain not 180 grain. This is a known problem with the 742.

Problem is on magazine feed slot, look where the rub on mark is and just file it down a little. Adjust as required.

I think the mags available for this gun could do with having their followers replaced with ones tha are design to not tilt inside the mag

These guns were and perhaps still are "jam city." Gun stores will not take them in trade.

Like the on you tube said don't use oil on them use a thin film of grease. He recommended citgo axel grease for boat axel bearings get it academy it's blue works really good. I have a 69 model 742 it's never jammed.

gun sucks back than and sucks now, only people like it are the guys that say buck is better than benchmade, or the guys that are 90 years old and shot a bunch of deer with them, state they aren’t made for firing too much or they will break, sorry excuse to defend it because of nostalgia, i love the 742 for what it was, but its shitty, so old timers please admit it.

I've had some issues with mine as well. Hammer would not drop with safety. Baretta fixed. I've had feed issues with other pistols, not Baretta, similar to yours. Local gunsmith polished up the feed mechanism for me. All these assembly line pistols are stamped out and assembled in a factory like cars. When you buy a new pistol ask a reputable gunsmith to look it over, check the action and polish any burrs off the magazines, feed and eject action, safety and trigger assembly. All my defects were not apparent when new but developed over a short time. I can't say if the factory was at fault or operator error but I was never charged for any repairs.

Good on you Marty. It wasn't until I slowed my speed over the fence to 60kts that I started landing the T18 where I wanted. Following a runway departure off a landing once, I subsequently spent a day at a quiet strip doing full stop and goes with a walk along the flight line after every second one, and the last landing back at my own field was #12. I had to get back in the aircraft or it was going to beat me, and I was flying away down country the next day... so I had to get it sorted!
