You serious? She added Aztec gold to the final loaf but literally said that the one she originally made turned yellow. Very clear steps every step.of the way. You must be going out of your way to not pay attention to miss that....

@ascendantsoaps21046 ай бұрын
They were from Amazon. I can't find them in my orders. You can type in geod molds and they should come up
@waynegross21132 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't be adding water to your batter. You've been lucky so far doing this. Your bar is unbalance because of this. Go back to traditional soap making. Test your fragrances. Your not ready for heat transfer method!
@waynegross21132 жыл бұрын
Trying to help you here. First make your soap batter, don't add fragrance. Put it in your piping bag at just before medium trace. It'll look like pudding. Let it firm up a bit. Put your center dot down in the middle. Make 3 petals around the dot, holding your tip upright. As you make your next row of petals slightly tilt your tip back. Continue till your done tilting your tip just slightly as you go around. This will do two things. Give a ruffle to the petal and make it look open and pretty. Practice makes perfect! Good luck! Also do a small test batch to check for ricing ans excelleration. I suggest you go back to making soap the regular method instead of doing heat transfer method. Your not experienced enough yet. Your not Ophelia, she's been making soap forever and is very experienced. You haven't been making soap for a hot minute! Take your time. Why are you adding extra oils for a super fat? It is included in your soap calc figures!

Those came out beautifully! I had no idea that you could add water to a thick batter to loosen it. The next time my soap thickens to quick I will try this. Thank you for another awesome video 😊

I’m usually panicking when things start to thicken. Is the temp the only reason or could it be something else? But you carried on quite calmly (I think!). Nice!
@ascendantsoaps21043 жыл бұрын
It can be a number of things combined. I personally use a high amount of hard butters and also add non palm stearic acid which is a vegetable wax that soaponafies quickly. The more hard oils you use the quicker your batter will start to thicken and yes temperature does play a part. I use the heat transfer method so the heat from the lye melts the hard butters. Also your fragrance oil can cause faster trace so it's important to use the recommended percentage of fragrance oil. Also over blending with the stick blender will cause your batter to thicken so instead of continually blending with the stick blender you should just stir with the shaft in between blending. I hope that helped.
@ascendantsoaps21043 жыл бұрын
The more you soap when things like the batter thicking happen you'll be quick on your feet for a resolution or youll be quick to think of an alternative design.
@ascendantsoaps21043 жыл бұрын
Oh and because I use stearic acid I have to blend longer which causes the batter to thicken
@sphuith3 жыл бұрын
