I joined a Limp Bizkit band as a DJ with zero DJ experience. Bought my first controller and man. I never realized how much skill DJing takes. As a guitar player, I thought DJs were just button pushers but there is SO much more that goes into it. Respect

looking into scooping this since I have an older mac. With the volume down, do the control vinyls make that high pitch tone sound like they do with Serato? can you let me know, thanks!

I’m working on my two click flare and keep on coming back to this as an example of how I’d like to execute it - it sounds great. Where can I find the beat you’re scratching to?

How do you decide what beat tempo to scratch to?
@DJPoisonEighty4 жыл бұрын
Example I'm learning how to scratch, and if I pick a 90 BPM song and do a baby scarcth and chirps combination, it's sounds clean. Now if I pick a 115 BPM song and do exactly same combo. It won't sound as clean. That means 1 my comfort zone is in the 90s and 2 I still need to do alot more practical to lock down the muscle memory and slowly move up in BPMs as I practice maybe next time instead of going to 100bpm just do 98. It's all about starting slow and working your way up.

DJPoison Eighty so whats a good beat to start learning to scratch to? I notice a lot of djs use down tempo beats sunch as in the mid 80’s and below!
@DJPoisonEighty4 жыл бұрын
@@Sbbabaseball yeah pretty 80 to 85 is a nice slow BPM to start with so beats in that range good for learning also simple beats that don't have too much going on and you can can clearly hear the drum pattern help you clean up your scratches
