Makes sense those rav4s in a manual transmission only weigh about 2300 to 2600 pounds plus the 3sgte means that even with a bad launch the rav4 would've won because the power difference isn't all that much

Ok, I don't want to be that guy to throw shade. But the wrx needs a driver mod. Like bro let out the goddamn clutch you don't need to be slipping it from 2 to 3rd, I here fellow WRXs everywhere shifting like a fucking Honda driver. The revs climb up then they shift, rpm climb *higher* then fall to the appropriate rpm. LET OUT THE GODDAMN CLUTCH LEARN HOW TO DRIVE STICK YOU MAKE WRX DRIVERS LOOK WORSE THEN THE ALREADY ARE.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I have a 05 Stage 2 Sti and I have beaten 2016 Stage 2 Sti and a 2012 stage 2 sti and I'm frankly being honest there's no way you can beat a 2013 and up 5.0 I'm just saying the facts. Maybe on a dig for awhile but not from a roll. Buy yeah any Mustang 2012 and older will get smoked 👌 SubieLyfe

Nope wont fit without major modifications. 2000-2005 Ravs are 1az or 2az engines. The 1st gen are 3sge which is why a 3sgte swaps in relatively easily

Actually that would be false . Personally I can tell you my 2015 stage 2 wrx has pulled several similar modded 5.0 mustangs from 40&60 rolls and pulled harder .. From a dig at the track too he ran a 13.6 I run 12.7-12.8 .. Just saying

+John McElroy Been wanting to do E85 but vary hard to get at mile high denver so just running 93oct. At about 350ish torque and 326hp. Still pulls hard but not as much as i would like due to altitude.

"I run 12.7-12.8 .. Just saying..." As do most stock 2011+ GT's... Let me guess, your trap speed was under 110 mph, huh? Most GT's are trapping a couple of mph faster than that. You're not beating any stock GT's from a roll, even with your stage 2, unless its a poorly driven manual. You should get them from a dig, but their power to weight ratio is better and once traction is no longer an issue they'll start reeling you in. No doubt the STI is far better from a dig, but don't kid yourself about racing GT's from a roll. Your STI doesn't trap the necessary 112-114+mph to pull even on a stock GT, if it did you'd be running lower than high 12's because of your vastly superior 60 ft times. Cars with good traction trapping 112-114+ are going to be low 12 second cars. My guess is you were around 108mph. Forget modified GT's from a roll, a stage 2 STI can't even handle a stock GT from a roll. My old 2013 GT trapped 114mph with a conservative tune and intake. My current 2015 GT traps 119mph with an intake, E85 tune, and longtubes.

It's just a 4.6.. A 3.7 V6 can keep up/may even beat a 4.6 so nothing surprising.. A 5.0 would've blown your doors off lol but good run

I do own an mr2 3sgte w stock turbo and a wrx ej255 with td06. The rav4 3s. So happy im an proud mr2 mk2 owner, on the other hand, I am not very proud of other WRX owners thinking they so bad ass with that turbo. SMH. Kid in wrx, pay attention when you are racing, No rev match, no launch, no tune either, running stock, *gets intensified*, spun bearing, rod knock, go home sad. :( Drive your wrx, grandma style, clutch dumping like you are in Fast and Furious, think you are bad ass, GTFO!)

Those are the best races. I had a run in with an old nissan coupe last night, looked like a 240sx, man that thing was boosting and inching away from me. In my defense I had 4 other people in the car with me after the movies haha.
