Would this be rehearsals for the upcoming Serious Moonlight tour that Stevie Ray Vaughan didn’t end up joining?

Love the sax on this that you don’t hear on the record. Surprised nobody’s mentioned it. Great version, love it 😍

WOW!! I guess it's now 45 years the band has played. I remember going out with Jim on and off for 7 years, like all relationships some good some really awful times. I wonder if the years have been kind to him. I'm now officially retired from being an Anaesthetic Nurse, I've had a great career with a lot of laughs. for example I worked in ENT the surgeons would often use Cocaine (in the liquid form and calm down it was only 10%) one Surgeon who came from Columbia, I used to joke I supplied Cocaine to the Columbians! one of those jokes you'd need to be there for. I can remember seeing the band play many times. One favourite was The ABC Bowl on Saturday afternoons. That was many many years ago. I wonder if they still play?

What other music of Bowie did Stevie play on does anyone know... I first thought let's dance album but it's the guy who was in chic so I don't know but I am sure he did play guitar on some other bits for him

You have to make this video on a higher clarity, @240p, it's not clear enough for me. I'm not being arrogant, just saying I can't see it or read it. Maybe if enough people complain you might believe me. Thank you

Norman, may I point out the song's title is actually "Red Light Spells Danger". Although I'm sure in a Red Light area it probabbly does Smell! lol

What a tragically underappreciated band SAHB was. They were too far ahead of their time and too enigmatic tor AM and FM radio. American radio just wasn't ready for Tango or Cabaret or music hall on the radio back in the 70's. Zal was abdolutely on another planet with his Stratocaster playing. Chris on bass and Hugh on keyboards were both musically ahead of most of peers. Alex, God bless him, was a great singer. These guys were head and shoulders above every other band.

Beautiful recording but why is there no solo by SRV? Such a waste!!
Essa música será tocada e curtida nos séculos 22, 25, 30, 50... com certeza...

Is this SRV? Dont hear a single Texas guitar note in here. More like Earl S. with chorus and phaser drenched by brass.

This is exactly why Vaughn did not want to be Bowie's permanent guitarist..Stevie had bigger and better things to achieve in his life.

Is it just me or is Bowie dragging SRV down. IMO SRV just didnt need Bowie. Wasnt it about this time that Texas Flood was about to be released.. Best thing to happen to SRV was to cut ties with Bowie.
