There’s a map at the start of the video. But it’s on the southbound side of the Hume roughly 1 kms before the little billabong/tumbarumba turnoff. There’s a small parking pay there just before it and the old road goes from that down to where I’m standing. The huge trees are easy to see

There’s a few out there who could learn from your professionalism, relaxed attitude & patience on the road in charge of a big handful of heavy haulage responsibilities. We had storms on the 15th of January in Wagga recorded 106kmh winds with many trees down and many road signs down and I had a small tree branch landing on my car in Wagga CBD it put a small dent on the roof luckily enough that Temora had a storm with no wind just small hail. My car is a 2006 VZ commodore adventra (AWD commodore) now I gott get that fixed😂what is the point of the duplication of the Barton highway it goes in to 1 lane at the border then it goes in to 2 lanes after the border. Amazing lightning ⚡️ show

@@ryanlansom7951 I’ve always wanted a adventura, it’s a shame Aussie car makers didn’t make more 4wd wagons back in the day. Yeah the Barton is a tricky one, I heard the act govenment wouldn’t put up the funds to do the border section until after the first section was completed. Some clause because it was the construction company’s first contract or something. Once the funds are available for section 2 act will then get them to also do the border section. Or police heard. It could be something else, but it is annoying when cars do 100k either side and as soon as it drops to a single lane they are back to 80

The cruel thing is that the Hume Highway. The most important road in Australia was only made a dual highway fairly recently. The Holbrook bypass I think was the holdout. Very political bypass around Euroa another. The Hume was always known as the goat track. It hasn't changed that much - even with the dual sections there's still lots of sub standard areas.
