Fizz most likely looked “guilty” because Oz said that he wouldn’t let Fizz go outside alone ever again after Fizz was kidnapped, which made Fizz sad since he probably doesn’t like being stuck inside all the time. (Just my theory)

The thing is that the pilot IS Canon, as per Viv herself on Twitter. The only things that changed were some voices and designs. But the events themselves are Canon.
