Amazing‼️ go down the Port way you'd think you were deep in the Countryside🌳 .Under the Clifton suspension bridge🌉 and you are literally a mile from the city centre🌁

The first 8 minutes is Broadmead, not Cabot Circus. Will be there in 6 days time after an absence of many many years - I'm sure I'll be surprised by the change. But thanks to your wonderful tour I know exactly where to find NEXT shop

I lived in the City centre 30 years ago - hardly recognise it now - good to see The Old Duke is still going strong -- I hope that is still the Llandogger Trow opposite. Great music to be had.

How long did it take you to drive from Bristol to Bath?

it depends on the traffic, but I would say 30-40 minutes.

Broadmead - let's call it what it is. One of my guilty pleasures was idling away a couple of hours there, circa early '90s. When I say 'guilty' ... I spent many weekends out of town (usually London) and became adept at maximising my down time so as to return on Monday with about enough time to go home, eat, shower and attend work. I soon got in the habit of phoning work from Temple Meads and reporting sick, strolling up to Broadmead for a bit of retail therapy, something to eat, then wend my way home at a leisurely pace. Rather like this guide, in fact - the walk between Broadmead (Cabot Circus, if you must) and Temple Meads can easily be done in half the time, by a more direct route. Anyway, my selfish and irresponsible behaviour was tolerated for so long before I lost that job. I can have no complaints. Although it's quite natural for a young man in his sporting prime to want to minimise the mundane aspects of life. Priorities. Thanks for uploading, by the way. It was an interesting detour.

There's no good shops in Bristol and everyones far too casual. Despite the high rent in the centre, there's literally nothing to do there.

Don't fucking bother, the gentrification wave has hit and has ruined the city. I live there at the moment, have done since 2018 but soon to be priced out, unfortunately the London bourgeoisie have claimed all the housing stock and are driving people of lower incomes out.
