I was watching this high and i got a few different understandings of it. Is it about someone she loved who died ? Or is it just about someone she loves and can't be with ? Or just about someone she loves and that's all ?

I wrote the song during a relationship with someone I was very in love with at the time, and the song was about feeling safety and security in that love (it’s a really sweet song tbh) and then the video was recorded almost a year after the relationship ended so in a way the video is about reflecting on all of that? and how it feels to be strangers with someone that you were once so close with like a mix of regret/mourning but also tenderness and comfort blah blah big words you get it hahahah my lovely director Lea came up with this video 💗 she’s an angel
