Yngwie might not be super versatile player but he's baroque style, classic influence and heavy skillful riffs makes him totally unique. No one incorporate it like him. Love it.

Yngwie you cork soaker, you've passed Minneapolis by for years when are you coming back??!! We are the land of the Vikings
@chrisbiggerstaff308317 сағат бұрын
He doesn't make the bookings, his manager does, and usually they look at where they make the most money at by ticket sales and merchandise sales and that's where they plan their tours around.

@@chrisbiggerstaff3083 wow that kind of sucks every time he plays here it's usually a packed house, and this is the second city of Sweden a lot of swedes here.he always compliments the Vikings not the football team the original Vikings when he comes to play. We miss him! One of my faves I hope he comes back soon.... I guess at the end of the day it's all about chasing the buck.

@wolfie322 Maybe find out how to get in touch with his booking manager and ask him or her nicely to please come back through, maybe they need a reminder of his fans that are there. Might work.

Saw him with Pink Floyd in 1987 and 1994 at the Metrodome in Minneapolis Minnesota. I’m 54. Very fortunate to have pictures from the 1987 date. I was 17. DVD’s will have to suffice for me. Blessings to you all.

I have tried to listen to Yngwie numerous times and again just now with this video. No one can deny he’s technically admirable, but every time I hear him play it sounds like someone just masturbating with a guitar and noodling around. I don’t get any actual music out of it and the technical mastery alone isn’t enough to hold my interest. I’ll admit I don’t get him and don’t really find the sound he makes very enjoyable. I’m sure it’s just me since everyone seems to think he’s so great, so don’t take it personal or like I am insulting your guitar hero.

Yngwie really needs to LOSE those crazy sideburn hair rolls. He should have lost them the first time he thought they would be a cool look. I've been a fan of Yngwie's amazing guitar chops since his first solo album. The hair chops, not so much. 😆
