Three or four years after this video was made, gas prices suddenly increased about 50% and led inflation for about ten years. I quit using my gas company cards and started buying gas with my Master Charge card. I wonder how many people did that.

Convincing people that using credit for life’s necessities, the buy now pay later when most people are not financially astute absolutely caused many of the financial difficulties we are in today. The use of fancy names for the credit card such as “travel card” etc....lets people off the hook by convincing them that it’s free money and not something you need to pay back. People wouldn’t pay a live person some of the terms these banks charge but have no issue sending a check into some far away address . This is loansharking on a major scale. We are dangling on the precipice of another financial collapse.
