I’ve had one of these for over half a year now and have now decided to put lmt axles on it, they should fit almost perfectly
@MechanicallyFun4 күн бұрын
Nice👍. I've bought those steel tubing to strengthen to the axles, but haven't got the time to put it in. Hopefully it will help👍 thanks for watching, appreciated👍
@72_RC4 күн бұрын
@@MechanicallyFun the metal tubes or “beef tubes” do help quite a bit, it you don’t plan on making any drastic changes to the truck it should be able to handle most things
@MechanicallyFun4 күн бұрын
@@72_RC Thanks Mate, it's not for anything drastic just for fun at the park. 🙏🏼

Nice crawler, with the trucks not all upgrades make them better. I change as little as possible and your truck has the upgrade I go for and that's metal wheels as that puts weight in the right place. Falling over is part of crawling it happens. You are lucky to have a place like this to try you trucks out.
@MechanicallyFun4 күн бұрын
Thanks Mal, the track is great and the community in there are very helpful. I do think the upgrade is enough just keen to try the included gear to make the overdrive to 12%. I'll skip that servo on axle thing. Thanks for watching👍
@BasBoyRC4 күн бұрын
@@MechanicallyFun Yes do the overdrive as it's a free mod and good not doing too much. I think some people add too many upgrades and the best is see from others what works well first as it can save so much money.

hi ya, I bought the kit version without electronics which is around $360 aud, the ready to run version is around $520 Aud. the reason we break motors in under water is to increase the contact patch of the brushes on the stator, the motor being faster isn't true the motor is just running more efficient than it could with out the brushes broken in. always use distilled water as tap can have too large of particulates.
