In general, yes, you can use a high quality, top-of-the-line ceramic coat product on top of CruzArmor, if done properly. CruzArmor has a hydrophobic, self-healing top-coat, which repels dirt and water, and gives the surface its smooth pristine look and feel. That being said, a high-quality ceramic coat applied over the top of a CruzArmor will fill in the microscopic pores and give the surface an even smoother “ceramic” touch/feel. However, if ceramic coating is applied incorrectly, or too heavily, it can leave a layer, restricting the ability of the self-healing properties of the CruzArmor.

On a new Motorcycle, we'd use clear. The "Clear Fork Kit" will cover scratches and scuffs making your forks look new again. If you have pitting from a few months or years of riding, the "Black Fork Kit" will conceal them nicely.

Yes, CruzArmor film adheres to your surface with its adhesive backing, and will not lift or peel when riding or washing, however, we recommend NOT using high-pressure power spray washers with protective films, as you can lift/damage the film by forcing high-pressure water under the edge of the protection kit.

We have done PRO-Series “full”Indian tanks out here in So. Cal., but the kits/process is not for the DIY’er. We have plans to do some new designs, that may include full coverage on the top of the fuel tank, as that is certainly a concern of riders.

Best option is to have the area buffed & detailed prior to installing CruzArmor film, however, our high-gloss, self-healing film does become your new top-coat surface, and dulled or micro scratched paint will actually look new underneath CruzArmor. If however, you have deeper scratches or nicks that are through the color, or that you can feel with your finger nail, or, surface scratches/damage that extends outside of the protection kit pattern area, then we would recommend you have paint correction done prior to installing CruzArmor, to end up with the highest quality finished look. 👊🏼

Not sure how that would look 🧐. The fork protection kit only covers the fronts of those legs and cans, so you would end up with a 2-tone (black fronts, and chrome or aluminum rears), as well as aluminum showing along the edges black protection film.

Yes, you will first want to clean the surface well with the alcohol mix solution (mix instructions come with kit), then you will be wetting down the soapy/slip solution as shown in the video, to install.

We actually have fork protection kits for the Roadmaster & Chieftain fork legs on our website. As a note, the Indian Challenger fork legs have a textured/knurled surface, which doesn't allow the protective film to lay down properly, so we don't offer fork kits for that model. Hi CJ. So, the soap and alcohol mix instructions are included with each kit. Here is the info. The soap/slop mixture is about 8 small pea size drops of Johnson & Johnsons Baby Shampoo, in 32oz. of water, and the alcohol/anchor mixture is 75% water mixed with 25% Isopropyl Alcohol (70% concentrated alcohol). F.Y.I., If you find that the CruzArmor material keeps sliding around, and doesn’t want to tack, then add more water to your slip mix. Yes, at this point in the installation, its the best way to rinse the surface, and feel for final imperfections just before laying down the film. This videos doesn’t include all the preparation steps that are laid out in the included written instructions. So, this vid starts with a prepped & cleaned bag lid, and we us that mixture (Johnson’s Baby Shampoo and water) to spray everything down, and to clean any dust that may have settled prior to laying down the film. 👍🏼
