You probably found it too late and it despawned, it only lasts 1 minute. Be sure to place the bobber into the meteor, use scroll wheel click to look right at it

@Ursi_ turns out i was forgetting to change to the bare hook from my saltwater bobber, so the saltwater bobber was overriding the ufo fish.

Well Gars are pretty big fish so maybe use a large lure. and make sure to use crickets and not worms because worms for some reason cant catch all normal fish so you have to use crickets instead.

Yes, it appears at random and at any time. it will also appear anywhere that has water but I found it more in the river by spawn.

It came out a week ago and there has been a few updates but as of right now the dev is working on the game very slowly since its only one guy. I bet he'll be doing a lot of fixes to the game and then adding some bigger updates like how there is a shovel and net in the games code for something.

I think it happened to me yesterday because I thought I saw a splash next to me and a rock spawn out of nowhere, but I figured I just didn’t notice the rock before since it was under a bridge and kept fishing with my friends. Dang it.

this is not true, if you fish next to a ripple or the meteor while either are under the bridge then it picks it up

you can fish under the bridge. Find the fishing spot, get as far away from it as possible (on the bridge) cast over the bridge into the water and drag your line into it. Once your lure is in the water the bridge is not counted as an object. That's why if you fall in the water you spawn off the bridge

They make it so you can catch higher-tier fish. So Crickets catch 1 star. Leeches catch 2 and so on until tier 5. It increases the amount it sells for but it also increases the amount you have to mash. so 1 star isn't that much mashing but 5 star is about 1000-2000 clicks. Rod power upgrade makes it easier.

You press tab and go to inbox then press create letter. after that press the drop down to find the player you want to send it to. then press send when your ready. they can then choose if they want to accept it or refuse it.

No. From what I know it spawns at random. It doesn't matter if it's raining or not. I do know that sometimes you won't even hear the sound (The thunder or thud sound)

I was thinking about drawing a map of the game to better understand where everything is but if they are mostly in the same spots I'll try to figure out where they are and put spots on where they can be mostly found.

All of them have their ups and downs and everyone uses their own but I personally use the golden lure which unlocks at tier 4 and sells for $999. It has a higher chance of catching higher star fish but it uses 3 baits every time. It sounds bad but just remember if you have max bait of 30 and using the best bait which cost $500 to refill then on average you'll get around $3k - $5k every time you fish with it. I would go on Reddit and ask about it too to see what everyone else says.

Yeah a lot including me thought you had to constantly mash. I'm glad that isnt the case.
