Imperial Palace in Lincoln, Nebraska was a great establishment! My family took me here for my 16th birthday dinner since I loved it so much. The moo shu was a favorite of ours! I miss the ambience. The interior décor, especially that in the main dining area (near the cash register), was nicely rendered with inspirations from the Forbidden City and other historic palaces in China. Now operating as Imperial Kitchen over on N 48th St, the legacy lives on, and the proprietors are very nice people. But, I'll always have a special place in my heart for the Chinese restaurant at 27th & Vine. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4WqnKJ4edCZepo One of Imperial Kitchen's websites still has some pictures of the old interior design from Imperial Palace. www.imperialpalacene.net/gallery As far as I know, at least some of the proprietors of Imperial Palace moved over to Imperial Kitchen. One of them is a very nice Chinese teacher from Beijing who teaches for the Lincoln Chinese Academy. www.imperialkitchenlincoln.com/

A far cry from when it first opened: an amazing professional host or hostess, a meandering running river with live fish in the restaurant, with little asian footbridges you crossed to get to areas with tables. Live trees and asian decor that obscured the view of other tables, dimly lit--13th century Han dynasty. Excellent food. When they figured out you could make more money selling Liquor the historic asian look went away and you got a typical asian reataurant with stackable chairs and moveable tables in an open room. The water features were gone, the decor was mostly gone. Sad.

If someone could please tell me the name of the group singing in this video, I'd really appreciate, and I'll add it to the title and description of the video once I get a positive ID. (I neglected to get their name that day.) Thanks!

Could anyone please help me by identifying these hatchlings? I'm not a birder, and my cursory internet searches didn't turn up much. So, I'd be grateful for the assistance! If I can get a positive ID, I'll edit the title of the video. Thanks!

Could someone please identify the precise year of this truck? Judging from various features, my best estimate is 1951. I'll update the title if I can get a positive ID. Thank you!
