I've owned them all, 70-96. If your a purist get a 73. If you want a restomod get a 77-78. They are a tad heavier but there are alot of small things that are the best of the S30s. The window mechanisms and tracks are by far the best design. The body is stronger where it counts. They also look like a 240 with easy mods. I'm building a 76 turbo that will look like a 240 It already has the tail lights swaped in. Let the rich guys pay extra for the 240 badge.

I am turning 14 soon and I am looking forward to getting my drivers permit. I don't have a specific taste I like cars from any time period. at first I wanted to restore a ford F-100 from 1956 but I realized that IO don't have the recourses to do that. now I want to find a nice Datsun 280ZX that I could restore a little bit and if I need to fix the rust problem because I believe you could fix anything on a car if you do it right and take the time to. I know almost exactly how I want it to look so once I have the ability to do that I would. also my dad had one of these.

This and the s130 are kings. The rest are meh. Well, except for the new 400z

this video makes me so sad to watch given that young and already in bad health and finance. can technically afford a datsun, but most of the time they are all rusted out and broken down. i doubt i will ever have the time or money to own or restore one.

Ok so I have a red 240z with a pandem kit. I plan on getting aftermarket wheels (watanabe rs) but I don’t know if I want to get powdered/painted chrome or gun metal grey. I wouldn’t mind some opinions on the matter if y’all wanna suggest what route I should go.

This is another reason the s30 is my favorite car. It’s unique, it’s got flowing edges. It’s just a good looking car

Yep Feb 2022 still one of the best Z videos

The original Z car was truly a masterpiece. I've been in love with it for over 20 years now. But over time the other Datsuns models have been growing on me and I love pretty much all of them. I was super close to buying a Datsun B210 a few months ago but circumstances forced me to say no. Maybe some day.

All I want is a widebody 280z with some uplifting synth blasting through the radio, but not so loud as to drown out the RB25....

Mr Fong ,I can see why you like this. But it's time to Face Book: Datsun Z Cars for sale. And bring one home. You can still buy on in the USA cheap enough to ship home. In 2020 they have gone up so much in value. More than anybody's Stock portfolio or Bank accounts. Look at "Bring a Trailer .com" and see what they have been selling for. It will SHOCK you. Then look at Datsun Z for sale on face book and see cars that need attention. For under $5000. It's time it's 2020. And since Dec 21 2020 Is the End of 25,000 yrs of Negative Darkness. Chris Fong hello, it's Sept 2020 I'm coming to the end of my two Z car builds both are resto mods. But I come and rewatch this video Time and time again.You can see all my comments below. I've come and watched and not left a comment ,like many many others, that watch this vid over and over...! I'm sure we are all happy to help you any way we can ,find a Z. Just post in comments, but you should do this.......the prices of project cars are climbing and are starting to get harder to find at a good price.There are how ever still many owners that doubt the value of their car and sell them for less. Going to watch it again ,working on my Z all day !
