My grandpa worked for St. Johns ambulance. I think it was right before he joined the Royal special forces. Right about the time WW2 started.

@craigbowley6783 I get bored to be fare using gimmicks, for one, they never go off, the only things I have used that have gone off, were cat balls, but an insect can cause them to light up, as you'll have seen in one of my earlier videos when I went to check one that had gone off, you never see anyone check them, but I did, now I don't use them at all thanks for stopping by my friend Ian SPJ

The definition of a Lych Gate is :- lych-gate (noun) - a roofed gateway to a churchyard, formerly used at burials for sheltering a coffin until the clergyman's arrival.

What a shame,there are either thing stolen or just on the floor, but such a different place from just a couple of months ago,voices were odd, but I don't know how close to streets you were,other teams have got a bit of activity there, but nothing major. One thing I caught, at 16,40 as your looking from the landing into the bedrooms, in the doorway in the middle on the floor there a tiny light that fashes 2 or 3 times, I 5hiught it was a reflection of your light but after the first flash you pan round then go back and it does happen ,but when camera is still it flashes again,I zoomed in and it's definitely not a feflection. Stopped half way,just to say ,how disgraceful some peoples behaviour is. I first saw this prop a couple of months back ,I think it was Adam Mark,who is first saw there, but soon followed by about 4 or 5 other channels except Adam and Finders Beepers the others were all paranormal channels. And then it was completely untouched, such a shame, the people responsible, not only have cotton wool between there ears, but give 99% of other utubers a bad name, as most are just mindless thugs. But some good catches so far.👻🖤👻🖤

@tinapartridge9303 thankyou for taking time out Tina, Yes, it's very sad what goes on, we caught kids in the place a few days later, caused even more damage, thus is the problem with these long holidays from school, kids are bored, but, this building had been empty good while, sadly, when youtubers post where the places are, this is what happens, hence why I try not to give away too much information anymore because I'm learning myself as I go on, so sad isn't it, but thanks again sweetie Ian 🙂

@CoreyTiff-kv1nq yes, sadly, I quite agree, I do take trigger objects with me sometimes, but they never go off, I cant do with fake channels and people, if there is something to be caught, it will show itself when it/they want to, I try to be as upfront as possible, I'm very down to earth, and I will speak my mind at all times, thankyou so much for stopping by and sparing me and my daughter your time, it's really appreciated and respected Ian SPJ 👍

Great little video guys with one or two quite odd noises coming through when you were on/near the landing, just after you said, Ian, "they were obviously a caring family". We then had a minute of strange little sounds. Then nothing else. Absolutely heartbreaking that within a week of you finding this location, someone has been in and tried to destroy the place. Hateful little bastids.

Thanks for pointing this out Tracey, I'll go ba k and listen closer, hard to hear everything straight away, especially suffering with Tinnitus mainly in my left ear, so will listen closely, yes, it's very sad, I actually went out with a mate on Wednesday showed him the place, and it was full of kids, I shouted to warn them, and they cleared off leaving the youngest of the group behind, shows you waht friends really are these days, so sad that this happens, but nothing for kids to do, so this is what they turn too 😞 x

Good on you for getting out ,I'm 61 and climb about ,iv got horse, do fencing, fix things in my caravan, and about to start a channel. At 1857/58 after you knock and ask to make a sound, there are 2 very faint thuds back. Stay safe see you next time.👻🖤👻🖤

Ian and Mark, thanks so much for getting out to this absolutely lovely location. Adore this Chapel. You have terrific chemistry and obviously have a good laugh together as well as being able to do a serious investigation. Thanks for the shout out - was chuffed ! Great idea re asking viewers for ideas for when you're calling out. Mine are :- 1. Do you know you've passed away ? 2. Did you work here ? 3. Do you come here in visitation ? 4. Are you trapped here ? 5. Can you see us ? I'm sure I'll think of some more, those are a few just off the top of my head. Loved the investigation guys, love the banter and the clear friendship and respect you both have for one another. Only one criticism Ian - and to be fair you did apologise for it - the sound on your camera was so crackly and bad at times it was painful to listen to through headphones. No offence as apart from that it was all great. ☺

I've just taken a quick look back at that particular clip, at the exact time, there a vehicle passing, it was extremely bright outside, so, i'm kind of thinking possible light reflection hitting the wall as it passed by!!! maybe, Thankyou for stopping by and pointing this out though, and giving me your time, very much appreciated Ian SPJ

I heard on e before but not from Spirit Talker but from Necrophonic app can't remember who it was though. About questions i would always talk to a spirit as if i had just met them in a pub ,id ask if they liked music,what type of music, sport ,even going back a couple of hundred years there was music and sport, not like we have today ,but they had both, so normal everyday stuff.
