Smooth performance. Never seen 0:58 done. Gotta try and use it. As I see, it isnt possible if u dont pre double jump before rj, right?

its possible to rj straight from shotgun to rail but it requires a very clean launch, its safer and much more consistent using the stairs to double jump

@@izqam Seems kinda high to RJ from sg straight to rail. Do you mean the floor or is it required to go on the steps?

This is likely the last Trickjump showcase I will be making in the near future, in the mean-time I'm working on my final "Ambient Trickjumping" Volume including Aerowalk, Bloodrun and Campgrounds on my main channel including new jumps and better editing. I'm also considering compiling every map I've done jumps for in one video somewhat similar to power_of_heavy_metal's DeFRaG compilations if anyone is interested in that.

nice, sadly noone ever finds my creation: you can stand on the bridge facing away from the railgun, jump down, shoot a nade upward against one of those bars on the ceiling and then do a 1x rocket jump to the rail with the nade.

Before i discorered Defrag i used to spend hours wandering around on maps trying jumps and shit <3 (i was never good, i only played offline so i had no referencial)

what's the deal with the wall clips? does the game let you retain all speed through a certain amount of clipping? if it's too much do you just get stuck on the wall?

As I understand it, once you reach a certain speed jumping before the edge of a wall you will warp around it maintaining your speed

Thanks, my original plan was just to showcase jumps on duel maps, and Campgrounds is the last map I've done for now since I haven't been playing quake lately. Check out GroinMischief for TDM/CTF jumps, he has some good stuff
