As someone with two years of experience, I highly recommend avoiding GRBL-based control boards. They often encounter random stopping issues, which can be incredibly frustrating and time-consuming, especially during CNC operations. Despite upgrading my stepper driver to the BT6600 and trying multiple solutions-such as upgrading the firmware, replacing the control board, and using different CNC software, changing usb cable, changing firmware, changing speed, changing power supply, supply voltage, usb settings, by running on different speed, Applying ground to machine body, changing usb cable, changing different current and precision settings from stepper driver, the problem persists. Unfortunately, this is a problem rarely discussed on online platforms, KZbinrs mostly show good part of there's project only rather than ground reality, such a worst random stop problem can completely disrupt a job when the machine unexpectedly stops during cutting. If someone have solution for this, please don't hesitate to reply back!

I'm posting this anywhere there's a video or article about the TwoTrees TTC 450, as a warning. I thought I'd share my experience with TwoTrees service, in case anyone is thinking about buying one of these things. I purchased my TTC450 from Microcenter, and the same day purchased the 500 watt spindle motor on Amazon. It took me about a day (off and on) to assemble the CNC itself and get it ready for the upgraded spindle motor. The motor came in the next day, and I got it all hooked up and upon testing it...NOTHING. Not even a blip. Sent some emails to TwoTrees, and eventually got a reply asking me to TAKE A VIDEO OF THE PROBLEM TO SEND THEM. Wow. Never seen THAT kind of nonsense before. So I take a video, figure out a way to upload it to them, and their next response is to instruct me to disassemble the power supply (!) and jumper 2 wires to bypass the relay. Wow. HUGE red flag there, asking a customer of your product to take it apart and perform an operation that obviously voids the warranty and kicks it right out the door. Not including the SAFETY CONCERNS. So I went through all that, sent them ANOTHER video of the result (getting REALLY tedious by now) and then I wait... And I wait...and I wait...and eventually like about a week later send them another email asking when I might be receiving my new power supply. Because the brand new one is obviously bad, right? Well, I got an email today informing me that they're sending me a NEW RELAY. Which is to say, not only did TwoTrees ask me to disassemble sensitive electronic equipment, now they're actually asking ME to FIX IT. When the original that THEY SHIPPED was CLEARLY UNTESTED AND DEFECTIVE. Gee. Sending me a new relay so I can operate on my brand new equipment that doesn't work. Thanks, TwoTrees. So, ordering from TwoTrees, know several things. 1: There is no QC process during manufacturing, and you may receive defective equipment from the get go. 2: TwoTrees has NO QUALMS about expecting the money-paying customer to do extensive repairs to otherwise new equipment to make it work, despite any potential safety concerns about working with high voltage equipment. 3: TwoTrees will do the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM to get your product repaired for you, requiring you to perform delicate and complex operations you should never be asked to do. In short, my experience with TwoTrees has been an absolute NIGHTMARE, and had I known before hand, I would have purchased something else. I recommend everyone take a good, hard look at the company you intend to buy from.

I bought a TwoTrees Sapphire Plus printer back in the days. I got exactly same experience of their support. When i bought my printer, it was early product. My Z axis metal extrusions came 20mm short! this lead whole printer build screwed up. While i were building it, i also found out about shipping damages and bent parts. I eventually got it working by straigting parts out and shortening leadscrews by 20mm, this ment my height of the whole printer were 20mm off thus 20mm shorter prints. Long story short: Only outcome from aliexpress were it to send it back for full refund. But i had to pay for the shipping fee. I did not ever send it back and this was the last 3D printer scam i fell in to and were out of hobby for years! This company is pure trash!

This a little late but it may help new users that find this video. The wires rubbing against the frame is because the drag chain is attached too far forward on the Y axis (1:07) . The rubbing cable that comes out of the end needs to bend back to connect. It can't bend back with enough slack to keep it out of the way of the fame when tied to the side of the upright . Unsnap a couple of bars (not the entire link) from the top of the Y drag chain to release a little more cable. This will let you wire tie it to the back of the upright instead of the side. The video on the SD card shows the cable tied to the back not the side. The cable doesn't get in the way of the limit switch when tied this way (tested). Love you videos thanks for everything you share with us.
Can be purchased for $614 on the TwoTrees store, or you can get the TTC 450 machine only for $549.
