That's funny... I had an empty sour cream cup and was picking seeds, and in a few minutes something popped and about hit me in the eye... then, the longer I carried the cup the more did it... I then put an inch of water in the cup and the were still popping in the water... I guess when they are ripe, if disturbed, some will explode in a few minutes... try rubbing the whole plant flower seed top lightly, and some will pop within a minute. But I was thinking the same thing at first, like I was going crazy, did I imagine that... was there some jumping bug in the cup? thanks... the ones that popped out of the cup flew about 4 feet...!

I had a running root Black Bamboo. What a nightmare to attempt to control it. I had to remove it as it was spreading to my neighbors' properties. Now I have root ball Heavenly Bamboo. Looks great and is easy to maintain.
