Anyone who says the earth is not round tell them to watch the sun set on the streets of a fairly big city. Then as soon as it sets go to the nearest highrise building and take the elevator up high as possible and look out the window and tell me how you are watching the sun set again if there is no curve/horizon... And if you can't make it up an elevator fast enough then rent you a video capable drone and fly it straight up after the sunset and record it setting twice. Explain that if there is no curve or horizon.

You can do this by sitting on a hill, then simply standing up. Not necessarily as a science experiment, but because who wouldn't want two sunsets! Also if you get on a fast road, and drive towards the sunset, you get to watch it for ages!
