I could put up the entire nut if I wanted. That is not the intent of the comment, my level of play is not in question. 40k seems like a lot of money for what looked like some above average league play.

1:51:48 why move the coin? it was a legal shot?
@timrachu861410 күн бұрын
There's a spot of 10-7. Anything over 16 total means the stronger rated player must spot balls until the count matches said 16. In this case it's one ball, the coin needed to be moved as the balls were racked. However it wasn't and Roberto moved it as soon as he noticed

Crazy crazy match. This was a race to 40. Yes race to 40. Chohan and Bergman looked completely wiped out towards the end of a race to 24 but that’s the toll it takes on anyone at the highest levels. It’s normal I was leading this match on day four by 7 or 8 games I believe I was up 29-21 or maybe 29-22 going to 30 2:16 and to be 100% honest by this point I was absolutely drained. My mind and my eyes were completely gone and I whispered to my corner “I don’t know but I have fallen completely dead and gonna need help winning this last game because I literally cannot see or feel anything let alone think”. I was truly spent. Mind you Chip is around a decade younger than me but that’s no excuse I’m the one who pushed for the race to 40. Credit to Chip he sensed my weakness like he should and played his guts out, I couldn’t close it out and I think he wins like 6 in a row from there and I finally win that final game so we go home. But instead of being up 30-22 or even 30-24 I was only up like 30-26 or 27. The next morning (day 5) I couldn’t get out of bed to go play. Erica was doing everything in her power to get me up. My mind was gone and my body was worse. Chip came back and we went back n fourth and this hill game was pretty much how you see it. I make that back cut with a good ball lead and can’t ever predict I’m scratching in the lower right. I was in a bad spot so put all my focus into making the ball as it was hard enough. From there Chip completely controlled the game and played rock solid. Was the toughest match mentally I’ve ever played and I played Alex 5/6 straight days but this match took its toll on this old boy.

Greetings from Nigeria. That scratch was heavy...the disappointment was palpable and gave him more momentum. Age eventually catches up to us all...but you've had a great career as among the best. Great job on the Matchroom commentaries. John Laven sent his greetings a couple of years ago when I went to Chicago. And say hi to Paulie in Scottsdale. Happy holidays.
