That's a backing track, nothing to do with playback, many do it live, it's a duplicate of the track, but in a different tone, in fact that's not new for the band, they even used it with Chester in some songs, such as The Catalyst, Waiting for the End, etc.

@@DanielQuinter0 Right it plays through the whole song though, they are playing the studio version here through the speakers with only a minor vocal fill in and perhaps an instrumental overlay. It's perfectly fine to do it when you have to because a song's vocals overlap but that's not the case here. The previous 2 shows you can tell a difference.

If you actually have functioning ears and listen to the original song there's alot of doubling effect to make the mike's and emily feel "fuller". That is actually what you heard instead of whatever you are trying to imply.

Seeing n hearing this section on a different video, initially I was like.. wait! Hold up! Wtf?! Then after seeing the same section from a couple of different videos this one as well, and other parts of the show, I came to realize Korean crowds are real good singers. Wearing dt-770 headphones help clear it up also.

It’s the backing track that has a vocal harmony. She can’t sing both parts live bc there’s only one of her. Actually makes it harder bc if you go off key, it’s more noticeable. Most bands have backing tracks these days to add in parts from the record that they can’t do live. For example, watch a little piece of heaven live by avenged sevenfold. The entire song has an orchestra in it but a full orchestra doesn’t tour with them for one song. It’s just not practical.

I cant believe that whats become of music fans is counting seconds for a scream as if its some benchmark for who is better... you dont usually even see people comparing male and female singers for obvious reasons but for some reason here we are, I legit think chester would be heartbroken seeing how his fans are focusing on so much bad instead of what music is supposed to spread

@@ValentineNTT I think you are confused, in my particular case I did not measure the scream with the intention of determining anything, that is something you assume. I measured it out of curiosity and nothing more. And if Chester was really the kind of person we all believe him to be, what would have him heartbroken would be the irrational hatred that many of the fans have thrown at her, not that someone measures a scream because to begin with when he did it he measured his scream , and no one was bothered. It seems that some people's annoyance is selective, it bothers them in one direction but not the other.

I'm not a fan of Linkin Park and I have nothing against Emily, but they are elevating her to a goddess on earth. And honestly, I (like many others) don't understand the reason.
