PLEASE NOTE : in question D) part 3) (the last question in module 1 of this paper) the answer is NOT that the pentANE reacts with potassium permaganate and the solution changes from purple to colourless. The ACTUAL answer is that there is no reaction and the colour remains purple since the compound is an alkANE and alkANES being saturated do not react with this chemical hence the given answer is correct for ONLY IF THE COMPOUND IS AN *ALKENE* THEN the reaction will give a purple to colourless change.

For that specific part of the question I used pentene and not pentane hence my answer. So if I had used pentane I would have said that. I should have used pentane though looking back at the question.

@@kiyiracampbell2932 if sign her signature in pen on the bubble she wont have a problem cause that happen to me last year and they still mark my paper.If she shade the answers in the bubble sheet in pen then they wont accept it
