Really? there was nothing funny about this

Well, maybe it's a Brit thing but I laughed at the mad girlfriend's lines ("old bag" - I haven't heard that in 40 years) and how she was determined to get them both in deep trouble, whilst the bloke was portrayed as a nice guy but the stooge likely to take the drop here. Until he was 'rescued' by Granny, who saw a lot even though her eyesight wasn't the best. Dunno about her accent tho', sounded Home Counties English to me (I'm Welsh, so maybe not the best judge). Nice to see RHD cars, too!

Appears to be based on the classic science fiction story Skylift by Robert Heinlein, though I don't see his name mentions.
@ChristianDoranFilms3 жыл бұрын
You're right and this is a huge oversight as it is a homage to the story. I'll add it in the description at least.
@barbicain663 жыл бұрын
This is obviously based on the short story "Sky Lift" by Robert A. Heinlein. It's a pretty decent adaptation, too, so I am shocked that there is no acknowledgment of Heinlein in the film's credits.
@ChristianDoranFilms3 жыл бұрын
Yep, someone else mentioned this recently as well and this is a huge oversight as I love Heinlein and this film was made as a homage to his work. Will add it to the top of the description.
@barbicain663 жыл бұрын
@@ChristianDoranFilms Thanks. Your film is good and I have recommended it with the caveat that it doesn't acknowledge Heinlein. I'm glad you've fixed that as best you can after the fact.
