One of my favorite things about that game is how it rewards the crazy gamers or the ones that have put in the time for the unlocks by having bosses like this and the ambush at the start of the game drop a gem or other sellable item as a reward rather then just the braging rights of killing them

I had a toxic relationship with Unreal that lasted for 3 years. It's hard to leave when it looks so attractive, but I could no longer stand the constant back and forth, leading nowhere. Then I chose Unity and although it's less of a looker, it has helped me to actually grow and push out labors of love without breaking my spirit or bank account. Unity may not be as flashy, but it's dependable, and that's what matters when you're building something real. I still open an Unreal project from time to time, but then I see videos like this and I remember... Good riddance.

Recently, I was experimenting with some combinations of Resident Evil and Silent Hill, such as Resident Hill, Silent Evil, Evil Resident, Silent Resident, and Evil Hill. Not sure if any of these resonate with you, but they could potentially grab attention on platforms like Steam or in search engines, instantly hinting at the type of game you're creating. I use CryEngine, but I am hardly a game dev, I just use it because i find throwing barrels around extremely fun and I can hardly learn how to throw barrels around in any other engine. What a daunting task I really wanna make something like Garry's Mod but Crysis though, that is just something this world needs.

If you're not using nanite, try disabling virtual shadow map (or see the docs for some optimization for non nanite meshes + VSM).

Not too sure about the framerate issues, but I noticed in the build error you showed it said something about the fab marketplace. I was also having this error when packaging my game. If you have the FAB plugin enabled by any chance (I think its enabled by default), try turning it off and packaging again. That's what fixed it for me.

@@NinjaRikku22 Yeah, same here. My project was packaging fine with the plugin enabled until it just wasn't. If you try it and it packages right without the plugin, then maybe it's an internet issue since I'm assuming the FAB plugin requires a connection to work properly.

Suggestion (not saying you haven't tried this, but just in case): Compare this file with your other working files. Note which things are different - different features, different nodes, etc. For each different node or feature, duplicate the file. For each duplicate file, try deleting that SINGLE feature or node and recompile. See what works. If none of them work, you have a more fundamental issue. Also, Nanite only helps when you are ONLY working with extremely high-poly models. Low-poly/optimized models only suffer with Nanite. Hope this helps!
