28/7/24 Still works, i was following comments and killed the vex then went back to sorrows horror about 5/6 times and he didnt show up, so i just killed all the vex and stood looking away from his spawn and he spawned in a couple mins later and he spawned in

20/7/24 can confirm he's still there. Bring him down to half health and stun, run around and kill other things, then return to him and abuse the poor dude again until you are done. Thanks for the video!

@jayshiinezzii2602 hahaha that's awesome. I just uploaded this to show my friends a module for my gun that gives me unlimited ammo for 5 seconds every time I reload. I never thought anyone else would want to see this 😅 It feels much more like Warframe + Anthem than Destiny.

There are also two barrier knights that spawn in the scarlet keep and an unstoppable ogre does spawn in the scarlet keep as well but i forgot the route i took to find them.

It was still there on 6/24/2024 and finished the work. I used strong dedicated weapon ARBALEST against barrier Champions. This weapon only can do this in my case. Thank you Rashiid.

Can confirm 5/29/24 he’s still there. I had to leave and go back to sorrow's harbor and travel back a few times but then he was there. Appreciate the vid!

Still there 21/10/2024 😊. And this worked!! Thankyou OP! I had my doubts (sorry man) but tried your method: first visit he was a no-show. Killed ALL the vex (& the Vex boss that dropped a quest-nice!). Still nothing. Fast travelled to sorrows harbour, went to this cave again & BAM he's sitting in that corner^. So glad to have finally ticked off that journey challenge! Thankyou!

@sk8inPingwin I'm guessing it's not right away lol. I tried fast traveling back to sorrows harbor and going back in there and it wasn't there. I tried it 4 times and nothing so I found another video of another barrier, I only needed 2 to finish leveling up. Thank you for your video🥰

5/18/24 This exact location is where the barrier champions do spawn. If champions aren’t present, return back to orbit and go to the location again.

I doubt it. He only has a chance to spawn. I have been to this location many times since making this video. The hobgob showed up about 7 out of 10 times. Just keep at it or head to today's legendary lost sector and work your way to the barrier champions in there.

Even after killing all the Vex from the portal and returning to orbit? If it still doesn't work, restart your game and then head back there. The hobgob should pop up then

My apologies. Been on vacation so I haven't had signal to respond. Try returning to orbit and then heading back to the location. Some people have even said he only spawned after restarting the game. From all the comments I've accessed there is about a 90% chance the hobgob will spawn. If you fall into that other 10%, he will spawn eventually. Unfortunately you just have to keep trying or brave a legendary lost sector and work your way to the barrier champs in there. I hope this helps you get to the guardian rank you desire.
