Not true. They are produced in Argentina for the LOCAL market. Argentina is a protectionist country...and allows very few imports into the country and/or charges import duties which increases costs substantially. They do this to prop up LOCAL industries and LOCAL jobs BUT this comes at at a cost. The price of Vans shoes in approximately 4x what they cost in the USA. Same thing in Brazil... For global market, Vans produces in approx 20 facilities in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, and Dominican Republic

This is also when I watched another video where there was this video + another video where in the second one, Chinese workers were sticking the ENTIRE sole (like premade) on the canvas which is not like the real ones.

@@suppotdekimjong-un5615 Yes, a lot of fakes out there, but also keep in mind that Vans makes "cold cement" shoes also.....they are just not their CLASSIC product. Cold cement refers to a "pre-made" sole suit that is "cemented" to the lasted upper. Very different than vulcanized shoe making process as used on the Classic product. All the best.

Hola! Sí, yo me compré las Vans Old Skool black white en 2014 y me duraron hasta mediados de 2018! Y hace poco conseguí las Vans Old Skool navy white de esa misma producción pero ahora veré cuánto tiempo duran, ya que debieron ser fabricadas por lo menos antes del 2018, ya que ese año Vans Argentina quebró. Ahora lamentablemente dependemos de las Vans importadas y salen más del doble de lo que costaban las que se producían acá en el país :(
