Hi man , I hope you’re still alive and doing well! I just started playing the alto sax and after listening to some bamboo flute , I just wanted to know what sound it would make if it was a saxophone , and I found your video! I just wanted to say: nice job , I’m like 10years late 😂

Yes but, in which keys can it be used ? At least add that in your Vivaldi Flute videos. Useless to buy if you dont know that. The links to the page of the Vivaldi flute is also dead on your site. Cant see the carbon fiber version on your site anymore. Epic sounding flutes you make though.

beautiful sound, but not a shakuhachi.A shakuhachi is not a transverse flute.

Hi Erik! Did you stop making this flute in Carbon? I have mastered your Oriental flute and I'm starting to make music with it now (Best music experience I ever had, thank you!). The Brazilian Major would be the natural fluture upgrade for creating music, and my climate demands non-wood.

Hello Erik! Greetings from Brazil. I’m wondering if you could provide a small list of your favorite clumping bamboo species with long internodes for flute making and crafts. I recently purchased a 2-acre piece of land in Ubatuba, São Paulo, and ever since, I can’t stop thinking about growing bamboo. It’s become a 24/7 obsession! 🌿🎍 Thank you so much for your two cents to the world and to the human enterprise.

The secret is in the soft grin. Connect the flute with a bit of pressure. Roll a bit to catch the sharp stream of air, not blowing into the flute but across it. Looking in the mirror helps. to make sure you are grinning and not puckering. This flute is small so a bit of strength is helpful. If the sound is too loud, you can blow softer once you hear the sound. I wish you success! Erik the Flutemaker

@@ErikTheFlutemakerCom thank you Erik, i have this one and the oriental, i have an easier time getting sound on the oriental, but i trip up going from note to note, i see why you say it is best to start from the very top note, when you get the sound nice on the highest note, all the rest are easier for it, much love to you Erik
