Thabk you! How often do we all feel like that which we know and have done must be in our future plans, but ultimately God will direct us towards the future He has designed for us♥️🙌🏻

I appreciate this video and your openness in sharing your experience. It really is the model Christ set for us, one of guidance through connection. It’s certainly true in parenthood. I’d love to hear your thoughts on working out conflict in a group healthily. Not that specifics are needed, but in my own case (just to give some context) my wife and I are a part of a friends group/gathering of believers, and the leader brought her a “correction” after my wife addressed some bullying behavior with another mother of the group (in regard to repeat problems that had arisen with her children and bullying/antagonizing behavior). She diminished what had taken place with our kids (I had never seen my son so bothered/upset by what another kid had done, I’ve been a close dad, but only my wife was present that day) and the leader seemed unwilling to acknowledge the initial bullying behavior that took place, only to criticize my wife for how she felt about her bringing it forward. My wife didn’t cuss or anything crazy, only asserted facts about what had taken place and the wrong that had happened, requesting the other parent put a stop to the behavior (after reoccurring problems). My wife asked to sit with the leader and another leader of the group (a mutual friend) after her “correction” to discuss what took place (as the leader said quite a lot, caught my wife off guard) and to hold herself accountable with the leader for what is said before a sister in Christ, as it felt the leader may have misconstrued what took place (and also to make sure everyone had a peaceable understanding of one another, even if there was some disagreement with how things should be handled). That’s a lot of specifics, but even just how to handle conflict when the leader of the group says she’s unwilling to sit down and hear you in front of others, even with her own leadership (she will only accept a personal phone call about it) and she doesn’t really seem open at all to hearing her out (but more annoyed and bothered). We don’t want to go to others and “gossip” but are unsure how to move forward. Quietly leaving seems the “Christian” response these days 🫤 silence and prayer for now. Thanks if you get a chance to consider this and appreciate you sharing your wisdom here.

ah, you're right! Unfortunately, I already deleted the original file to reproduce. And, this clip has a lot of viewers suddenly! I hate to remove it at this point. I will be more careful to produce stereo in the future. Thanks for speaking up and helping me.

The redirect works well. I have found that by putting the EGR (Extra Grace Requires) person to work it subdues the thought process. "Todd, what you've been sharing is good. Would you...look up this verse? Could you take some note for me?" Like you stated. Works for a short term solution, but boundaries is huge.

This is great. Give them a task to do. And, of course, love the EGR😊
