Terribly sorry for delay, just had to verify there is a difference between Gasoline and Diesels. Looking back, I should have shoved the tags up to the camera, apologies. Raiden had himself a little booboo.... ear hematoma. So a visit to the vet and a very heavy nap! They drained it but no guarantee that his ear will stand up again. So now he really works the puppy eyes and floppy ear for allll the treatos!

Mom leaves for work, he's not happy. Dad leaves without him, he's not happy. It's impossible to keep the ball of fluff happy! Both of you must stay with him 24/7 and order everything online so you never have to leave the house. 😁😁

Couldn't agree more. Like he was just sauntering with the car. 😅 Unfortunately we do not. We picked up a pulling harness this year so fingers crossed he likes it. 🤞

We actually have a swinging cage that hangs on the side of the balcony with as much of his fur scraps as we can stuff in there. Lord Raiden has been insulating bird nests around us for the last three years! 😊😁 I don't do posts, that's a great idea! I'll snap a shot of it tonight when I get home and make a post of what he have! 😉

Looks like a magpie. Super intelligent and very territorial over their kingdom and nests. Have read many stories where if you leave them gifts of something shiny…a bead, a piece of glass etc..they will take it and leave a gift for you. But also stories of them dive bombing people who come too close to nests. Amazing creature. And Raiden is such a good boy

Here in Australia our magpies have a fearsome reputation for divebombing people who might venture near their nests. Spring time here now which is peak Magpie season. Their birdsong more than makes up for their misdemeanours if you aren’t being swooped. Perhaps Raiden might be receiving flying lessons from the birds?

I truly believe Raiden has a friendship with these magpies! i find the most random things on his bed outside. A hole in shell peanut. One time a chicken wing bone *thanks for that! He even watches while the birds drink out of his water dish. <3

I will second what tanyabernier1260 said! We have found so many things on the balcony and mostly on his actual bed. We have a swinging cage hung with his fur from brushings for all the birds, plus we keep water bowls outside... for Raiden? 🤔 So I have ideas as to why we may get the gifts but nothing for sure. Guess we need to invest in an outdoor camera! 🤣

Same here in the cities (Edmonton/Calgary), I've heard there are areas where you don't go at certain times of year. Thankfully they are more inquisitive than anything around here. 😅 Couldn't agree more about the songs. Having the retaining pond behind us has the benefit of tons of birds, the odd water fowl and at night you can see the bats swooping around. 😊

He only played for a few more minutes after that. Then someone showed up and he went to say hello. 🤦♂️😅 When he gets playing like that, he'll come home and sleep right till dinner! 🤣

Couldn't agree more! I'm noticing he's still playful with the younger ones. But the older ones he used to play with, not so much. Don't get me wrong, they have their bursts but they don't play like this anymore.

Is that the spot where Roanoke sometimes digs into the snow and tries to hunt out a critter trying to live out the winter under the snow? Has he been away recharging his batteries? Been a while since his previous video. I have replayed his plaintive howls when Mom abandoned him whilst she went to work. He wouldn’t like us laughing at his expense, but the harshness of the situation is fantastic.

It's close to it. This whole area is usually frequented by Deer and some Elk through the year. Plus I'm sure the field mice are abundant! Hasn't been away, just been slow little bit. I was off of work for medical reasons (all good now) for a bit so everthing slowed down really.
