Yesterday I met a little old lady on the bus in Denver, she was wearing a black ball cap with the Marine Corps symbol eagle anchor and globe. She was the one who's job it was to pick the clips in this very video! She told me about this video and said they were up 3 days straight to get it finished on time! I thanked her for her service and told her she is a national treasure. I said you may have been film corp but she is still a Marine, she told me I may not have carried a rifle but she did complete Marine Corp basic training on Paris island, N.C. and that was before the military policies changed to accommodate women. RESPECT! Also she is barely 5 feet tall. I'm telling ya they don't make em like they used to. Bring back the greatest generation!

Hello sir, how are you? I am from Iraq. I used to work with the Marines in Fallujah. I was in the 2nd regiment in the Golan Heights from 2005 to 2007. The regiment was transferred to the city of Diyala. I have certificates from the Marines. I am currently threatened by militias. Please help me. I want to obtain a letter of recommendation. I do not want to immigrate to America. Please help me. With thanks and appreciation.

A really excellent video. I've seen a # of videos on the battle and this one ranks with the best. I especially liked the identifying of the units make up the brigands and their commanders. Again excellent video.. Well Done.

I’m shocked and saddened at learning of Gen Mullen’s passing. I worked for him in Iraq in 16. He exuded calm and bold leadership. I hope that Marines won’t mind my offering of Semper Fi. It’s from the heart.

I’m IL boy , moved out to Virginia for new surroundings . I’m a history nut and to see the old rail lines in the woods and see an area where it look like it’s grown over everywhere, picturing a battle ensue there is crazy , I love taking the time reading everything . It blows my mind that part of it or all along the interstate , once you leave right across the perimeter , it’s like you time traveled back to capitalism and strip malls . I’m so glad they fight to preserve the land and try to reflect what happen there/here.

We have plenty of great organizations, like the American Battlefield Trust, who do great battlefield preservation work!

I took some vacation time back in the 90's and visited the Bull Run battle ground. By that time the Henry house, and the Stone house across the road at the bottom of Henry Hill looked to be the original buildings. The bridge over Bull Run creek had been rebuilt to original condition. The only difference I can see us that the Henry House was painted White at that time. I see there is a traffic light at one of the cross roads that was not there when I visited the origin battle field. There was a Park Service employee there to give us all the details of the battle. A worthwhile adventure for any History Buff. 🙂

Glad you got to make it out! It's still a great battlefield and much has improved since the 90s.

'That's one of those myths ... that women can't do pull-ups. But we have it on video now.' Spare us. We have her on video all right - doing two. Male Marines who can do 20 are a dime a dozen. Nobody actually argues that 'women can't do pull-ups.' Some women can't do any. Some men can't do any. But if you test well-conditioned athletes - swimmers for instance, who typically can do lots of pull-ups - you will find that on average, top-ranked women will be able to do fewer than top-ranked men. How many fewer? I'd bet fewer than half as many. I would be easy to tabulate pull-up results from the final PFTs at TBS and MCRD, break them down by sex and average them out. I am quite sure the Marines have crunched those numbers and would have been happy to share them with '60 Minutes,' had the reporter bothered to ask.

After The Battle Of Fallujah I Asked Him "Do You Think Today's Young Marines Are As Tough As The Old School Marines Like Smedley Butler & Dan Daly" He Never Hesitated For Half A Second & Said " Oh Yes I Think So" Well There You Go Young Marines,,,,,,,Praise From A Pacific Marine Who Served In Hell On Tarawa & Saipan !!

Krulak is an absolute FRAUD, just like so many of the so-called "leaders" in the military. This FRAUD is a boot-licking, kowtowing, LIBERAL who is bowing down to Joe plagiarism Biden. Do your research. A complete waste of a uniform, unworthy not only of any "brass" on his collar, unworthy to be referred to as a "Marine", but also unworthy to be even referred to as an "American". We had a name for his kind when I served: SEA LAWYER. Self-serving, self-absorbed, and DISGUSTING.
