It makes German vehicle sounds when latching, clicking, etc. I'm glad to see Japanese appreciate this vintage of bikes. Here in US thry are ignored because old.
Very nice bike - so clean ! Love the cafe racer style fairing, where did you buy that from if you don't mind me asking ? I would love one for my R850R Classic.

Thank you for your comment. This fairing is manufactured and sold by a Japanese shop called Motoco. Please have a look at their website. www.motoco.co.jp This fairing is called MF-2.

Nice bike, I have ridden and raced an early K100. It was the one that Lyndsay Williamson and John Britten rode in the NZ Castrol 6hr. Bill Biber raced a hot K100 in the early NZ BEARS racing it was very fast and successful. A friend here in NZ has an RS recent Jap import. He is the man whom paints the Britten Motorcycles here Christchurch NZ.

Thank you for your comment. It was the first time I heard that John Britten was riding a K100. The V1000 he built has been run on Japanese circuits. His motorcycles are also famous in Japan. lrnc.cc/_amp/_ct/16802703

Canon Copiers were John's sponser. I have a photo of the K100 in my workshop, the bike was sitting beside a 62 Manx & my 80 Ducati Hailwood 900. John has a 900ss at one time also. John Brittens 1st Build Aero D Zero was powered by Ducati 860. I think it was timed at about 154mph..
