I was trying to remember if my dad was the kind of man that wiped his whiskers out of the sink. I decided I needed to know how he lathered it up and found your video. Feel like I pulled over and you pointed me to the lane with that memory on it 🧠✨

I’m wondering if it’s a good starter razor. I’m used to cartridge. But for some years now I haven’t shaved because I have facial psoriasis. I just grow a beard but people complain. But to properly treat the psoriasis I’d probably have to shave. (Edit: I’m on low income disability so getting a shaving setup is kind of expensive thus why I am thinking of trying this one. It’s 11 something on Amazon Canada.)

Love the video, do you leave soap dish open or rinse off soap and cover? Or leave it open? Thank you.

Hi. Change the handle for a havier one (I mounted the Lord head on the KCG handle) and it will work much better - a bit harsher razor, but it gives me pretty close shaves with Astra Superior Platinum blades. This Lord head is sort of a Merkur head copy. The Lord Platinum blades are waiting for their firs use in my cabinet. But the first razor with them will be my Mühle R89. Greetings.

I love Cremo. Like you, I upgraded from Edge gel to Cremo during my cartridge years. When I switched to DE, I had a tube left over, so I used it as a pre-shave and also as a "booster" for traditional soaps. Also, I love the Palo Santo cologne and the hair forming cream is fantastic.

The best Shave Brush on the market today is my Simpson Trafalgar's T-3 better then boar cheaper in the long run it is 29mm. i mic it' it's like buying a $275 badger hair brush, no cleaning the brush, no need for a brush stand, fast drying time, well not fall apart like a badger hair or boar can, cheap to buy, I have owned it for 5 years with no hair loss with no problems wheelchair Larry Merry Christmas

Do any Shave Pucks or hard soaps are going to work?. You can mix and match old soaps? to fit in any mug or cup that you like to use. like (Mitchells' Wool Fat or Arkos shave soaps?) Cut the bar soap up, put in a mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, and microwave for a minute or so? if it foams up, stop. the water keeps it from burning itself up? (DON'T OVER WATER YOUR SOAP??) Easy does it? let cool don't want to crack the mugs or cups you're using? ( you just went it to congeal in your mug or cup') place in the sun, until soap hardens? When using Dry Brush more Water. For its (price point?)' (I use Dove bar soaps?) (use any soaps Out there ??) save your money spend it on your wife don't listen to the shave mafia.try to save people money in these inflationary times wheelchair Larry Merry Christmas

I have sensitive skin. What soap or shaving cream would u suggest for me ? Do u know how to prevent razor burns and bumps ?
@maceawilder
@maceawilder 9 ай бұрын
Don't know about sensitive skin shaving soap but on your second question: Are you already using a safety razor? Multiblade razors can cause a lot of irritation. Using an alum block after your shave followed by an after shave balm can also help with irritation after shaving. Pre shave, it helps to oil up your facial hair to soften it and make it easier to cut.

Can anyone recommend a good shave brush? I keep buying ones that slowly lose their bristles. It's not a big deal. They're not expensive or anything. I would just like one that lasts.

I really like the all day conditioning cremo provides with the scent, even if it does gunk up the shaving gear from the slickness. Ill use proraso foam on top for an extra thick traditional soap like experience which is a great shortcut if you cant use a bowl while traveling.
