Mine has been always hard to pull the cord since it is brand new. I hate it. It is the only small engine I have hard time to start. I am wondering if I got a lemon and there is a way to fix it. As I get older it is harder on my shoulder. I should have tested it while buying.

I bought the exact same model with the Honda engine in 2020. I've used it for clearing and maintaining 8 acres of wooded land in Oklahoma. It's done an excellent job and easy to operate. My only complaints are that the nut that secures the cable to the gear selector has gone missing, and the fuel cap won't vent when fully tightened. Other than that, it gets it done.

It would be nice if these advertisement videos demonstrated the mowers capabilities in actual thick, long grass. Not just straggly dead weeds/sticks. The slope demonstration was great but how does it handle slopes with thicker grass? I'm looking to buy a 4WD mower, either a Billy Goat or Razorback, and unfortunately this video hasn't demonstrated to me if it's worth the $22,749 AUD price tag.

Oh and I forgot to mention that the locking mechanism for the depth guide doesn't hold on a brand new machine worth a damn.

This machine might work well cutting a flat moist field but that's it. You know when they tell you to make sure the ground is wet that the machine is gonna be crap. The one drive wheel and handlebar design is so flawed when you're pushing this machine around and constantly have to hold the throttle and cutting triggers down. They don't even show you them using this machine in the video because you have to manhandle the beast around. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. Fire the guys who designed this POS BillyGoat please. 🤬🤬🤬

I know there is a lot of resentment with Billy Goat using the Subaru brand, I should know I purchased not one but three replacement carberator cylinder blocks at $200.00 a pop for a Billy Goat SP-170 6.0HP blower. I'm still using the blower and with the Subaru engine. My Dealer repair guy took pity on me and let me in on an industry wide known secret, he recommended REC gasoline. Now everything I own runs on that fuel, regular & mixed oil fuel. All of my mowers, backpack blowers, string trimmers & chain saws start on the first pull & just purr like a kitten on idle, my neighbor is on his 3rd lawn mower, I told him too but, either too stuborn or too cheap. My point is this, if you want your customers to have productivity you should be recommending REC gas in your products.
